following up his successful foray of sampling on otp party breaks, andy ash finds himself diving head first into the darker outer limits of big room dance music. >another world< nods its head to technos yesteryear, more specifically detroit. imagine a slower version of the motor citys soulful chord pulsing sound and youll find yourself in the right ballpark. add to this andys finishing jacking touch and the result is golden. this time around otps remix work finds italian man of the hour nicholas, from no more hits (label) fame and otps very own marcos cabral

for fotos second vinyl release liverpool-based producer and swept fringe sporter andy ash supplies 2 tracks of dancefloor pressure.
the a-side >dance< combines deep detroit synths with driving house rhythms to devastating effect, whilst on the flip andy gets his sample chopping gear out to cut up an 80s soul number into a grooving pitch-down banger for >mason in my basin<. these jams are strictly for the floor.

emo-techhouse at its best! sanjam is the croatian meaning for im dreaming, and thats exactly what this track is about. warm synths are surrounded by housy chords and a deep bassline. girl with a smile is pure oldschool, initiated through dubby feelings and hypnotic beats. you will see the girls smile on the dancefloor for sure.

side a of the 4th record from monotone leidenschaft provides furore. the producer newbee ash cawlin proofs once more his potential with this track. with wondrous slight devices and a very long breath he is able to design a timeless minimal techno sound, which reminds a little on g-man. with the track leda he provides a genuine hit potential more than the presence as a dj-tool. jack else aka subtronic produced a really succeeded and modern track, which matches perfectly between functionality, friskiness and brightness as well as between techno and minimal sound. the blowing groove is always multi-layered and a little capricious. in spite of that it radiates a defeating naturalness, which is slowly burning into the brain. the new track provides the typical heavy, pushing beats, which let you step on the same position. along with it there are endless traces of crackling and rustling
